Letters to my Daughters
You are the sunshine in my life. You are the silliest little 4 year old I know. You think any thing silly is the best.... especially tooting. You dearly love to laugh through your arms in the air and take in the whole world. You are set on being a mermaid when you grow up. You love school and all your friends you have there. You favorite movie right now is the new Disney movie Moana and of course HeyHey the crazy chicken is your favorite part. You really have grown up so much this last year and have conquered some major fears, such as swimming under water and being close and comfy with the horses at Grammys and Grumpys house. You are so strong and can almost out run me. You are the kindest and most tender big sister. You are always trying to comfort your little sister when she is sad. And if you guys have a hard time sharing then you are always the one to give in and share first. You love doing your hair and all things girly. If I let you, you would where a dress every day. You will spend 30 mins sometimes brushing your hair and putting bows in it. You love being outside and you love have become such a talkative and friendly little girl. You will tell complete strangers about your new play set or about how your little sister was sad cause she missed out on the bus ride at school. You tell creative jokes and will come up with anything to make others laugh. I love you Rue. Thanks for always making me smile. I am so grateful I get to be your Mama, cause you are such a great blessing in my life.
You are a few weeks short of turning two. You are such a ball of energy. You have a very independent spirit. You love to do things by yourself and will run off and not even look back to wonder where I am. In fact I would dare say you find it a fun game to see how far you can sneak away from me. You love love playing and doing what ever your big sister is doing, but yet you are ok by yourself too. You are supper tough and will get a scrap or a bruise and jump back up and keep playing. You have a love for animals but when ever they get to close you tend to back away at first and then after you warm up to them on your own time you cry when we have to leave. You are not afraid of much and already are keeping up with your big sister in just about everything. She climbs up the slides and so do you, she tries jumping in the puddles and so do you. Sometimes you even lead your sister into trying new things. You give the best hugs an snuggles and always come running into my arms and rap your arms around my neck and squeeze real tight. My favorite thing is giving you horsey back rides and you lay on my back and hold on tight like a baby kola bear. You love making silly faces and laughing. And if there is dirt or puddles to be found you will find them and jump in with out hesitation. Under all your Independence and toughness you are sweet and tender, this can be seen in how you take care of babies or baby dolls or how you pull my face to yours and look at me in the eyes and then hug me around the neck or give me a kiss on the lips. You have not yet learned how to communicate with words but what you lack with words you have made up with your many other hand and facial expressions. I Love you so so so much Juniper Elizabeth and I know you love us.
Life in the last frontier with two tiny humans and one mountain man. This is my story.
