Letters to our Daughters

Dear Rue, 
You are 7 years old. You love all things pretty and beautiful, but you also love to play and get dirty. I love this about you. You bring so much joy into our family. You started the second grade this year and are doing so well learning so many new things. You enjoy gym, science, reading, and music. You also started the piano this year and are doing so well. I love watching you play with your little sister and brother. It feels my heart with so much joy to see you sit on the couch and read a book to yourself. You are growing so fast and it makes me sad sometimes because I love my little Rue so much. But you are growing into a beautiful kind, caring, smart, witty, funny, and amazingly curious little girl. I am so so excited to see you learn new things and enjoy the wonders of life. My sweet Rue never stop being you. I am so blessed beyond words to have you as my daughter.
